Your Checklist
We're a concierge service, created to help you avoid the long line in Jamaican tax offices. Once you've paid we schedule your job. On the scheduled day, we collect your motor vehicle documents, process them at the tax office and return with a renewed motor vehicle registration document and sticker. You can learn more about how we do what we do in our frequently asked questions.
Important: We process renewals on Thursdays and require that you book 3 clear days out from our processing day.
Step 1 - Have your documents prepared
Ensure that you have:
- The original motor vehicle registration
- The original certificate of fitness (current, NOT expired)
- The insurance certificate (current NOT expired) a copy is acceptable
Keep copies of your documents so that you can continue to operate your vehicle while we process the renewal. The tax office requires that the fitness and insurance documents are not expired.
Step 2 - Know your vehicle's CC rating
We'll be asking for the CC rating (or CWT for diesel) of your vehicle, as this affects the cost of the renewal.
You can find it on your current motor vehicle registration document
⚡Electric motor cars
For electric vehicles, this step is not needed since they have no CC or CWT rating and the tax office does not request any equivalent at this time.
Step 3 - Ensure that you're located within our service area
You live or work within our service area (Mona, Liguanea, Barbican, Acadia, Norbrook, Cherry Gardens, New Kingston, Mona, Elleston Flats and communities near to these). We will expand to other areas, as we have capacity, in the future. We confirm your address at checkout.
Step 4 - Renew your sticker
Orders placed BEFORE Sunday midnight (Jamaican timezone) are processed on Thursdays. Orders placed AFTER Sunday midnight will be scheduled for the following week.
